Is is a Wag (true) or Growl (false)

Wag or Growl?  Look for pet products that don't contain corn.  Corn is a filler that is nutritionally inadequate to other ingredients in pet foods and is difficult for dogs to digest.

GROWL.....
First of all, fillers do not contribute to the nutrition of a product.  In other words, they don't contain nutrients.  Corn is a vegetable that contains complex carbohydrates vs simple carbohydrates, so it has fiber. Corn also contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid that is necessary for healthy skin.  In addition, corn contains amino acids that make up protein.

Wag or Growl?  Beef is at the top of the allergen ingredient list.

WAG......When you look at studies with dogs where adverse reactions to foods (skin reactions) have been documented, beef, dairy products, and wheat account for over 65% of of the cases.  If you ask most consumers what's at the top of the list, they'll say corn or chicken.  In fact, most vets say preservatives and dyes, wheat, beef, chicken egg, corn poultry, soy and dairy. But these cases have not been officially documented.  But if your dog isn't allergic to these products, then there is no need to stay away from them.
